The iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps forms the backdrop for the Spa-Francorchamps Run. For one day, the legendary Formula 1 circuit transforms into a unique running course, where participants can experience the atmosphere and challenge of Spa-Francorchamps for themselves.
Participants run across the famous asphalt and pass iconic spots such as the starting grid, pit lane, and the legendary Eau Rouge/Raidillon. This allows the circuit to offer a unique combination of sport, motorsport history, and experience.
During the Spa-Francorchamps Run, Red Bull brings the energy and look of Formula 1 to the event. A real eye-catcher is Max Verstappen’s Formula 1 car, which can be admired on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit during the event.
In addition to this impressive highlight, Red Bull provides the energy and facilities that support participants and visitors. For example, Red Bull cans and protein bars are available, and Red Bull provides various facilities around the event.
During the Spa-Francorchamps Run, data plays an important role behind the scenes. WadData supports the organization with data-driven insights, ensuring the event runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
By predicting crowds at strategic locations in advance, such as the water stations and medal collection, WadData helps the organization better coordinate the deployment of volunteers and facilities with the expected busy periods.
In this way, data and AI are used not only to optimize the organization but also to improve the experience for every participant. From a good flow at the refreshment stations to efficient medal collection: WadData helps the Spa-Francorchamps Run perform just as strongly behind the scenes as the runners on the track.
